🔹 Option 1 – Inverarnan → Tyndrum
(Main 7-day itinerary – shortest overall schedule)
Distance: 12 miles (19 km)
Time: 4.5 – 6.5 hours
Climb away from Loch Lomond early, then follow forest paths and open glen walking through Glen Falloch.
The walking here feels steadier and more straightforward than the rocky shoreline section. The ground is better underfoot and progress is quicker.
This is the standard 7-day schedule and keeps your overall walk moving well.
It feels easier than yesterday. Your legs may still disagree.

🔹 Option 2 – Inverarnan → Crianlarich
Distance: 6 miles (10 km)
Time: 2 – 3 hours
Gentle valley walking through Glen Falloch.
Good short day if you are taking 8–10 days.
This section follows the glen with wide paths and steady ground. It allows your body to recover after the harder lochside terrain.
You may arrive before your coffee gets cold.
Sleep in Crianlarich.
🔹 Option 3 – Split the Section Over Two Days
Inverarnan → Crianlarich → Tyndrum
