Distance: approx. 7.5 miles (12 km) via Low Route
Time: 2.5 – 4 hours
Perfect for walkers taking 8–10 days who want a shorter morning.

🔹 Option 2 – Balmaha → Rowardennan
Distance: approx. 7 miles (11 km)
Time: 3 – 4 hours
Undulating lochside paths. Not technical yet, but narrower and more varied than Day 1.
A comfortable half day for many walkers.
Paths go up and down beside the loch. Not difficult, but smaller and rougher than Day 1.

Seven miles is not far, but your legs will still know about it.
If someone says, “It’s only seven miles,” smile and keep walking.
Sleep in Rowardennan.
